Cold microfiltration removes bacteria and impurities without altering the composition of the seawater, preserving its natural content of salts and minerals.

What is hypertonic seawater and what is it used for?

Hypertonic seawater is undiluted seawater that retains its natural concentration of salts and minerals.

It is called "hypertonic" because its salinity is higher than that of an isotonic solution. This product contains approximately 3.6 grams of salt per 100 ml, equivalent to 36 grams per litre.

It can be used to prepare diluted seawater or in small amounts in a variety of culinary preparations.

How should hypertonic seawater be consumed?

Before drinking it, dilute 1 part hypertonic seawater with 3 parts drinking water. For example: 50 ml of seawater + 150 ml of water = one 200 ml glass of diluted seawater.

You can also use it undiluted in cooking, adding small amounts to soups, rice dishes, vegetables, stews, or marinades according to the desired taste.

Properties and Benefits of Hypertonic Seawater

Unlike isotonic seawater, hypertonic seawater is not diluted before bottling, so it retains the full mineral profile of seawater. In addition to sodium, it naturally provides magnesium, calcium, potassium, and trace elements in their original proportions.

Its most significant mineral is magnesium: each 100 ml provides 150 mg, equivalent to 40% of the daily Nutrient Reference Value. Magnesium contributes to:

Reducing tiredness and fatigue.
Normal muscle and nervous system function.
Normal electrolyte balance.
The maintenance of normal bones.

It also contains 45 mg of calcium per 100 ml. These values refer to the undiluted product; when prepared in a 1:3 ratio, the amount provided per glass decreases proportionally.
