Chlorine dioxide test strips

Reagent strips to quickly and easily measure the presence and level ofchlorine dioxide concentrationin a range of 0 to 500 ppm.

With these measuring strips you will get reliable results quickly of chlorine dioxide levels. Since they detect chlorine dioxide values ​​from 0 to 500 ppm in intervals of 0, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500.

The chlorine dioxide has a greater oxidation capacity than chlorine or ozone, so lower concentrations can be used for effective disinfection.

For measure ppm of chlorine dioxide,Made with the sodium chlorite + activator water treatment kit, immerse the test strip in the liquid for two seconds. Remove the strip with the pad facing up. Do not shake off excess liquid. With the pad still facing up, wait 10 seconds and compare the color obtained with the color chart on the bottle, which will indicate the ppm amount of chlorine dioxide resulting from your measurement. Check the color you get with the colors in the boxes on the bottle. Discard the test strip after 30 seconds.

To make such a measurement, since the strips only go up to 500 ppm, you must dilute the CDS you have prepared 1:9, that is, one part CDS and nine parts distilled water. The test strip is introduced into this mixture; if a value of 300 is obtained, it means that the entire process has been optimal.

Conservación: guardar el bote en un lugar seco, fresco y alejado de la humedad, con la tapa bien cerrada después de cada uso. La humedad es el principal factor que degrada las tiras antes de usarlas.

Vida útil: consultar la fecha indicada en el bote. Las tiras pierden sensibilidad si han estado expuestas a humedad o luz directa de forma prolongada.

Uso único: cada tira es de un solo uso. Desechar tras la lectura (a los 30 segundos del contacto con la solución).

Precauciones: producto de uso técnico de laboratorio. Mantener fuera del alcance de niños. No es un alimento ni un medicamento. En caso de contacto con los ojos, enjuagar con abundante agua.
